Hi! I'm Fabian.

One Minecraft modpack refused to stay small and pulled me surprisingly deep into software development and product work. I have not regretted a single second of it.

My journey started in communication design and business communication at Design Factory in Hamburg. From gaming to UX and graphics, camera work and flying drones, all the way into IT, I have tried a lot of things, and the same pull showed up every single time: understand how something works, then build it so other people can actually use it.

P.R.I.S.M. is exactly that story. It started as a project I wanted to play and gradually turned into world design, custom mods, desktop tooling, asset pipelines and eventually a development system big enough to need its own control room. That would have been a perfectly good place to stop. I was having far too much fun. By now it has grown into what is essentially an art-directed game of its own inside Minecraft, and honestly, I am still near the beginning of it.

AI is where I ended up, and it got to me in a way nothing before it did. Focusing on one single thing has never come easily to me, and that has not changed. But that is exactly what AI turns into a strength for me: my head is always three steps ahead anyway, and now I finally have the computing power to keep up with it.

I use it heavily for research, scaffolding, and bounded implementation. Direction, product and architecture decisions, testing, art review, integration, and final approval stay with me. FBZ Lab therefore shows both the output and the systems that make reviewed delivery possible in the first place.
