TextureStudio is the project-facing name for P.R.I.S.M.’s deterministic pixel-texture pipeline: repeatable material recipes, native 32×32 generation, instant previews, and enough validation to catch ugly seams before they reach the game.
What it does
- Builds textures from strict material recipes and named seeds
- Generates native pixel patterns rather than downscaling images
- Handles geological bands, fractures, rubble, organic overlays, snow, ice, and moisture
- Keeps related variants inside a shared palette
- Tests seams, repetition, isolated pixels, and alpha behaviour
- Produces tile, wall, cube, checkerboard, and background previews
- Requires human review before promotion into the resource pack
Minecraft textures should tile. That sounds obvious. It is not.
TextureStudio is an active internal production tool. There is no public standalone application or download yet.
